Display Menu
In the Main Menu, press ▲▼ to change the highlighted option to Display, and then press Enter
to call up the Video Display menu.
There are several options which can be adjusted, including Resolution, Brightness, Contrast, Hue,
etc. In addition, the video ratio of a 1/4-window display can be set to “Fit Window” or “Proportional”.
The general operations of this menu are described below:

Use these buttons to select the desired menu or area.
• +/- :
Press these buttons to adjust the selected item.
• Mode (Mouse: Left click)
Press this button to restore the display menu to factory default settings.
• Touch Panel Model: Press the +/- buttons to change the supported model. If your touch panel is
not listed on the supported models, you may still select one of the existing models, and use
Calibration Settings to try to calibrate the touch panel.
• Calibration Settings: These settings are used to calibrate the touch panel.
Press Enter (Mouse: Left click) in Settings to call up the Calibration menu for the touch panel.
Follow the calibration instructions to calibrate the touch screen.
• Esc: (Mouse: Right Click) Use this button to escape from the current screen, and return to the
previous menu. If the Save dialog is shown, press Enter to exit and save, or Esc (Mouse: Right
Click) to exit without saving. If you change to a resolution that is not supported by your monitor,
when the system reboots, no video will be shown after rebooting. If this happens, you will need to
reset the system to default settings. Press Menu,◄, Enter, Mode, Esc, Enter all at once to reset the
settings to default. The system will reboot again.
To change the resolution, verify first that the resolution is supported by the monitor.
Changing the resolution will cause the DVR to reboot.
For VGA, the default sharpness setting should be set to fine. If you are using an HDMI monitor, the
sharpness setting may need to be lowered for optimum quality.
